Fragrant spices, although we use only a pinch of them, can
add flavor to every dish. Like cinnamon enriches the aroma of coffee, so
do the little figurines, scented candles or ceramic vases enrich the style
of rosewood dressers, mahogany bookshelves and elm tables. The soul of the
interiors is to be found in the details, because it is usually the tiniest
objects that are home to the biggest and most precious feelings.
Remembering our childhood days, we know the true treasures
are hidden in the attic. This is where our good memories, including
childhood recollections reside: a photo in a simple wooden frame,
paintings and graphics, a mango tree box encapsulating family heirlooms, a
trunk brimful with all those seemingly useless knick-knacks. You can
easily enter the realm of memories, smelling of childhood.
